Kokum Butter

Description

Kokum butter is derived from the seeds of the kokum tree aka wild mangosten or red mangosten tree found in India. The butter is aka Goa butter. The anti oxidants present in kokum butter make it capable of preventing wrinkles, provides hydration and improves skin tone and elasticity. It is non-comedogenic, highly moisturising and It may also aid in improving the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

Obtained by crushing the kernels, boiling the pulp in water and skimming off the fat from the top or churning the crushed pulp with water, Kokum butter heals dry and cracked skin especially lips, elbows, knees and soles of feet.
